Finally I am back with a post, many apologies especially to TAKA and RUBS for all their continuous hard work while I've been slacking off disappeared. However, I will be moving on to more behind-the-scenes work with the occasional Nogizaka46 posts from now on officially...not that anyone would miss me anyways lol... I feel like it might be better to put it out there just in case...

Anyways back to the more important topic,

Nogizaka46's RELEASING A NEW SINGLE!

Once again, Nanasemaru will be centering this summer single, her centering seemed to be in favour of most NGZK fans as the last single (Kidzuitara Kataomoi) sold so well. Maybe sony management is trying to test out whether it's a once off thing, or whether she can become a long-term push...but that's really just my personal guess...
The song suits the summer single feel, however has a very strong SKE vibe in my opinion, but overall, definitely am excited for it's release!

Personally I've always loved Nogizaka's single covers, and with Natsu no free&easy, no disappointment at all! Especially the "logo", simply yet beautiful!

So one of AKB48G's iconic and important event, the Sousenkyo, has finally ended 4 days ago (Sorry I wasn't able to update on the day since I was too tired watching the event and *kinda* studying for exams as well....（．＿．）)and wasn't this year a very exciting one??? ( ´ ▽ ` ) Us three watched it together live on TV along with some of our other AKB fans and man... it was so intense throughout the whole event and it was just as interesting as last year when Sasshi was announced first beating Yuko!

I was glad to see many new promising members rank and I want to congratulate all the members which ranked as well (￣∇￣) Anyways... I'll get on with the result even though most of you probably knew already ahahha....

Hey guys!! Long time no see (more like post...)!! Sorry that we were not being really active and posting any posts on here.... We have been really busy juggling Uni with all the exams and assessments.. and part time jobs and such that we did not have any time writing up posts... We are really sorry guys! _:(´□`」 ∠):_ And we will definitely update more during our uni break in a few weeks I think... Anyways continuing on with the post ... The 36th Single "Labrador Retriever" was released today, and us fans were able to cast our precious votes to our oshimens for the 37th Single general election! The management also released the preliminary result of the first day right after Team B's stage performance today. Even though it is jsut the preliminary result, there are still quite a few surprises with the members that are ranked. I shall just post the ranking of the preliminary result and you guys will see what I meant by surprises. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

[Preview] Nogizaka46 - 8th Single 気づいたら片想い Kitzuitara Kataomoi Covers

Nogizaka46's single (so far) has delivered another brilliant release! Nogi never fails to astound me with their quality songs and music videos which are always top notch. First of all, omedetou Nanasemaru! I still don't know whether I like this interchanging centre or not..but I'm glad Nanase is centre! Please be Ikuchan next! 
Kitzuitar Kataomoi, is one of those cool ballad songs that Nogi is extremely good at executing. I've already watched the PV and also the Undergirls PV which are both amazing in both cinematography and the music arrangement. 
Unfortunately, the official track lists are still not out yet, so I'll just showcase the covers today. I will update this post later.

Once again, covers are so deep and meaningful haha. This is the classic example of 泣き笑い (smile while crying). Nanasemaru looks really gorgeous on the solo cover but my favourite is Type B, obviously because of the members. I love the clean and pure school girl image that Nogizaka portrays. It's like a fresh breath of air from all that skinship and bikinis in the 48 group. NESS (do you guys even remember her? Yes. She's actually an admin of this blog...) and I will both be purchasing Type B off CDJapan. This will be my first Nogi single ^___^ and I'm really excited because to me, this is sort of like the first step to transitioning from a casual fan to a kks wota haha. Everyone please support Nogizaka46! This is looking up to be my favourite release of this spring period of the whole 48 group. 先日リクエストアワーにて発表いたしました、2月24日（月）Zepp DiverCity TOKYOにて開催のイベント「ＡＫＢ４８グループ大組閣祭り～時代は変わる。 だけど、僕らは前しか向かねえ！～」に関しまして...
As announced during Request Hour, the event AKB48 Group Daisokaku Matsuri ~Times are Changing. However, We Can Only Face Forward!~ will be held on February 24th at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO. 

このイベントはAKBグループすべてのメンバーの新しい可能性を探るために、新しいチームを組閣することを目的としたイベントです。
This event was planned in order to explore new possibilities for all members in the AKB Group.

先日の告知発表のステージ上で、高橋みなみ総監督は力強く、こう宣言しました。
The other day, this was what general manager Takahashi Minami had to say encouragingly on stage.

「いろんな人がいろんなチームに行って刺激を受けて、48グループが大きくなるために、2014年も前を向いてがんばっていきたい」と。
"With the stimulus of putting various people on various teams in order for the 48 Group to grow on a grand scale, we'll continue to try our best and face forward in 2014."

今回の大組閣は、世間をにぎわすのが目的ではありません。
The purpose of this grand reformation isn't simply to stir up our world.

[Review] Nogizaka46 - 7th single バレッタ Barrette

乃木坂46's 7th single with first-time and first-ever 2nd generation centre, Hori Miona. There has been a lot of uproar and a lot of cat scratching and name-calling. But I'd say, almost breaking 400k is really something worth celebrating. I (RUBS) would be considered a casual Nogi fan but I do enjoy a lot of their music and I have some members that I definitely keep my tabs on. The biggest surprise about this new single is the center position which will be held by 2nd generation member, 17 year old, Hori Miona. This caused quite a scandal since they've only just debuted in May this year. Hopefully she can endure the pressure and pull it off! It is also the first single to not include Hoshino Minami in senbatsu.
Also another surprise is a new Anime Type, since the B-side single is also being featured as Naruto Shippuden's 14th opening song. However the cover is yet to be released.
