As announced during Request Hour, the event AKB48 Group Daisokaku Matsuri ~Times are Changing. However, We Can Only Face Forward!~ will be held on February 24th at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO.

RUBS
I must say, when I heard the news there was going to be a shuffle I had no idea it would be so major and shake the very pillars of the AKB group foundation. Now being a fan of the whole 48 group I have favourites from every group, and thus to make this commentary section more organised and less like an explosion of word vomit, I'll only incline myself to write about my Oshimens and the members I follow. Otherwise we'd be here all year, hearing about me yapping about every single member. I'll try do it an orderly fashion, and not get too emotional.
Team A
Takamina returned to her position as Team A captain. Well done Aki-p, you really know how to work her like a dog. It's not like she was already the soukantoku.
Chori, is fully transferred to AKB. Wait what?! What is up with this? To me, I don't see any sense of this and I felt she was well suited in HKT and now that she's being moved to AKB (If she accepts) I'm pretty sure, she will just became another "Myao"- a senbatsu member turned to a theatre mainstayer. NO FREAKING SENSE.
Oh yeah, and why the hell not promote a draft member who hasn't even debuted, while you're at it. -slow claps-
I will talk about Paruru's placement in A and the nonsensical-ness of this in Team B's post.
Team K
Honestly speaking, this team is looking the strongest (Ace from each sister group is concurrent to K). A little irritated at the amount of shimai star power though. It's like they can't be bothered to push any of the ACTUAL team K members and leeching off the sister groups. Well in the end, this is business and popular members reel in the cha-ching.
Not sure how to feel about Sayanee being in K, on one hand I get to see her perform in Team K stages as well as Team N stages. But I don't see how she will juggle this along with being a senbatsu member and the captain of Team N. Yuihan as captain?
She's always been a K girl, to me anyway.To be blatantly honest, I was hoping Jurina's concurrency to be cancelled. I know many will disagree with me, but I never saw her as an AKB member, but instead an SKE member who just happened to have a senbatsu spot in AKB singles. I'm sorry, attending less than 5% of Team K stages just does not cut it. Now I'm excited to see the two senbatsu members (Sayanee and Jurina) to deuce it out for the Team Ace. Exciting.
Team B
Will leave the important rant to last.
First of all, thank god they made Mocchi captain of something.

I remember, I was screaming on the phone with TAKA, when I heard Ikoma Rina called out. I was in actual shock. But yay, Mayu adores Nogi and Ikoma's AKB oshi is Mayu. So happy I will see them together. I wonder how she will adapt to the theatre life-style. It will be pretty full on.
*Caution long-ish rant ahead*
As much as I love seeing Mayu back in her Original Team. I sort of feel annoyed, almost cheated, that she's no longer in Team A. When she moved to Team A, Mayu came out of her cocoon, she blossomed into a beautiful, mature woman who left the care of Yukirin. We saw a different side of Mayu, as Team A was filled with young Kouhais, Mayu had to step in and become one of their big senpais. Not saying she was bad in Team B, but It almost seems like Aki-p is saying Team A has trained you to become more mature, and now we'll send you back to Team B. When they said they would go back to the roots of AKB, I didn't know they literally meant it.
Moving Mayu to Team B feels like they are discrediting all of her efforts towards becoming the next ace.
I don't know, I just have mixed feelings about Mayu being in Team B. I mean sure, MaYuki is great and all, but it's like they're swapping Paruru for Mayu...Team A is known for rolling out the big aces and the front-line team. It's like the time Mayu was in A, was the management throwing her a bone and now they're doing the same for Paruru. Who knows, another shuffle might come about and Paruru will be shuffled back to B or heaven forbid, K.
If the rumours are true, that Paruru will indeed be the next centre for the 36th single, I will have confirmed my allegation. However, if it is a double centre with Mayu (which I'm hoping/ and assuming it probably is) I will be relieved but still not satisfied. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I won't be satisfied till I see Mayu's name be called out last at the general election and see her sit on that throne.
Team 4
I'm glad, in general Team 4 did not change much. But the biggest WTF was Yuria's full transfer and not only that, but VICE CAPTAIN. Like does she even know the T4 kids? Are they even close? Yuria is a SKE memeber, through and through. She was born and bred in Sakae, and now that she's just been exiled to AKB for no apparent reason. Jokes I know why. Because once again, Aki-p refuses to rely on the ACTUAL AKB members and decides to leech of the shimai group power.
SKE48
Okay, so I was on the phone with TAKA whilst listening to the audio stream live. I literally have no idea what I said on the phone. If I heard it again, I wouldn't even know what I said myself. It was like a half breakdown and sobbing and some random gibberish and TAKA, I'm sorry, you must've been thinking da hell? Is she having a fit? ahhahahaha. My hands were shaking so much I almost dropped my phone, and I couldn't even annunciate the name "Miyazawa Sae" and "leader". I think it took around 5 minutes? For TAKA to finally understand what I was saying AHAHHAHAH. Like it was after all the names of Team S were called. I was in actual shock and I just froze up but I was somehow able to cry and my head was spinning because I was happy, surprised and also extremely worried for her. I know there are a lot of SKE purist fans out there, and honestly I'm scared for Sae. I'm scared she will get a lot of haters (Not saying all SKE fans are like this) but they signed a petition for the shuffle to be cancelled for gods sake. THEY ARE NO DOUBT. SCARY WOTAS.
Also, Ryouha must be happy. Being in the same team as her oshi hahaha. I bet she never expected that huh.
Another BIG WTF. Is Milky in Team S? Wait strike that. Just the sheer amount of sister groups in Team S. I don't understand it at all. Aki-p, did you just draw names out of a hat and decided yup she's going to ___48, Team ___?
NMB48
Glad Sayanee retains her captaincy position.
I'm excited to see how Yukirin will be like in NMB. To me, I can't see her in any of the sister groups, let alone Namba. Should be interesting.
Baby Jo is promoted
The tension is going to be extremely awkward, having entering back to your original team.Something to flip a table about is certainly...UMEDA FREAKING AYAKA IN BII. AND NO CONCURRENCY. BUT FREAKING FULL TRANSFER. Why you do this Aki-P? I swear, she's going to graduate soon. It's inevitable, the 2nd gen are all getting old, and now you just leave KK all alone?! Umechan is what? Going to graduate under a group that she doesn't even know well? WOW. Bravo Aki-P, you've outdone yourself.
Also, I sort of feel bad for Shu... no way she can compete with the power of the fisher. I only see her declining.
I'm also extremely devo about Macchun's transfer to B. I don't see how this will help her. An already stagnant - mid popular senbatsu member, going to a group where you have to kill to have a few seconds of screen time. Nope. I think management just screwed her over.
HKT48
Glad to see Hakata, with very little changes. NakoMiku's promotion was very obvious. Also really happy to see my HKT favourites as captains
JKT48
I was extremely surprised when I hear Chikarina was transferring to JKT. I mean no she was never on my radar, but she was one of those nice girls who performed averagely and she contributed to the power of the theatre.
At first, I thought no way. The management probably thought she was no use in AKB and then exiled her to JKT. So I was a little irritated at how they could throw girls around like that. But after seeing a blog post on tumblr about how she wanted to be transferred, I have begun to admire her determination to not just graduate, and be done with it. She wants to stand and fight and gain some attention. She'll need to learn a whole new language, culture and adapt to a new environment. I think this is great and she should be proud of herself. Now I know, many of you do not even know her (TAKA is guilty of this ← TAKA: I've seen her before but I never know her name ahahha... ), even though she's 5th gen, but please support Chikarina!

TAKAI personally hate shuffles, especially when a team or group is working out fine with its members, so when I heard the announcement that they are going to hold a dai sokaku event on the 24th of Feb during request hour, my jaw dropped like this → Σ(゜ロ゜;) (Management is so mean not streaming request hour this year and giving us this shocking event....!)
As a SKE wota and hako oshi, I was really worried about this shuffle to as what will happen to SKE, especially with a lot of front and promising members graduating like Manatsu, Nannan, Penpen and Matsurina.
Team A
I was really shocked when they announced that Yuihan is not the captain of Team A anymore, and instead the position of captain was given back to Takamina who is the soukantoku of the 48G as well. I really think that Mariko-sama has chosen very well as to who is (or was) the next captain of Team A, but to change it again, it is just like who Mariko-sama chosen didn't matter since management can just change it in an instant like that *snap*. And it is already tiring enough to be the soukantoku and now captain of Team A?? I'm really worried for Souchan...
Paruru in Team A??? I'm not sure about this since I'm so used to her in Team B....
And Tomu is put in Team A after everything she had worked hard for in order to make Team K better after Yuko graduating is like.... I've got nothing to say anymore... （￣□￣；）
The only thing I'm happy about is Nyan nyan back in Team A with Souchan~~
Team K
This team used to be the weakest after Yuko graduating in my opinion, but now it is the strongest among all other team with the aces from every sister group having a concurrent position in Team K. I seriously think this is such a stupid decision made by the management... Why can't they just push a few AKB members in Team K like Shimada, Maria and Tomu (who used to be in Team K), but instead they are not bothered with them and just got a popular member from each sister groups to make them "stronger". (￣д￣)
The most important thing I was worrying about was whether Jurina will continue her concurrency or fully transfer to AKB. I reckon they didn't transfer her to AKB since she is still the ace of SKE and it will just start a war if they did (I think... If not I will go crazy anyways because Kiddo... Nagoya is your home and you belong in SKE...!). Even though I like her in Team K because I can see her more, I really think they should just end her concurrency and let her fully contribute to SKE. Participating in AKB senbatsu is already good enough for me.
Glad that Yuihan is still a captain though and that she is back in her original Team K, with Kitarie as co-captain!!!! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
Team B
The most shocking news and shuffle (along with Rena's as well) that has ever happen in the 48G history so far...! Ikoma Rina from Nogizaka46 concurrent in Team B...!? Aren't they suppose to be rival groups....??? (((( ;°Д°)))) This would be interesting.....
So Mayu switched with Paruru and now is back in Team B.... I know that this is her original team where other 3rd gens have been but I'm totally against this because she was doing so fine in Team A where she has become a very mature senpai that helps her kouhais as much as she can, and shined more on stages than before as a Team B member. But putting her back in Team B is like everything is back to square one. (Another reason I disagree with this so much is because I'm not a Mayuki fan lol... Please don't bash me Mayuki shippers....|･ω･｀) Why can't Mayu be in the same team as Jurina...)
Congrats to Mocchi and Shiichan becoming captain and co-captain of Team B respectively~
Team 4
I don't know much about Team 4 but Yuria...!? YURIA....!? Yuria fully transfer to AKB and being the co-captain of Team 4...!? Aki-p, are you sure that you are fine with a baka as co-captain?? Nahh, just joking. She is not as baka as everyone says and is quite mature when it comes to difficult situation like this and are also very considerate. I knew that Yuria was planning to move to Tokyo and move towards her dream of becoming an actress, so I was expecting maybe a concurrency for her but not a permanent transfer....! It is going to be so weird without Yuria in SKE as she has always been the front member since Gomen ne, SUMMER... but I will keep on supporting her no matter what!!!
Team S
Finally up to my favourite Team S... I was so sure that Nishishi will keep her position as leader but when I heard RUBS on the phone saying Sae is going to have concurrency in Team S and as the leader, I was left with no words..... Σ(゜ロ゜;) Like I actually don't know what to say about this... I think that Nishishi will still be the leader of SKE, it's just that Sae will take her place as leader of Team S...But don't worry RUBS, us SKE fans are a cool bunch and will welcome Sae and other transferred/concurrent members into the family, just like Kitarie and Minarun (｡´∀｀)ﾉ But I know there are still some fans will go crazy about this... Neesan having the co-captain position....!!! She's back in her original Team S, had her first ever gravure last year, had her song with Akisun ranked first for request hour and now this...!? I'm sooooo happy and glad for her~~~(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
Congrats to Uha being promoted as well~ (So obivious that she is with all the push from management) I'm looking very forward to her interaction with Sae as they are in the same team now... heheheh! Talking about interaction.....
RION AND MIYAMAE IS STILL TOGETHER!!! OMG!!! (Yes, I ship them two together!) I can't wait to see how these two will do with each other with all these senpais around and especially when Jurina is around as she is Ami's oshimen~ Wait... Jurina and Miyamae together in the same team....? I did not see it wrong right??? I'm so over the moon that my top two oshimen are together!!! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
Calming myself down from being a fangirl... There are two members that transferred from AKB and two concurrent members from NMB and HKT... Karen, Suzuran, Milky and Boss... I don't have any problems with them except for Milky because it is going to be so weird having her...! Not that I don't want her in Team S, I don't mind at all but I just can't imagine her in S at all LOL! Or maybe I will be wrong when she starts performing and it turns out to be awesome having her in Team S (￣ω￣)
Team KII
Minarun actually permanently tranferred to KII!! I'm so happy and glad, because I have been hoping that she will tranfers to KII because I reckon Team KII suits her more than Team B. And Churi's husband Airin taking over her wife's position as captain because Churi is having a concurrency with BII? Ahhh~ Furuyanagi everywhere possible~ ( ´ ▽ ` )
Two original KII member, Riho and Anna are back in KII after being in Team S... I feel sorry for Riho after her finally getting so close with Jurina lately and now they are in different team again.... lol. And Egochan is in Team KII... the team with quite a lot of hentais (Airin, Mizuho) She is gonna get attacked by those hentais more now especially with her personal guard, Yuria and Manatsu gone, and no protection from the SKE leader as well... (￣ω￣)
Team E
Team E doesn't look like a loli filled team anymore...! Except for Naru, Kumachan and Nonchan. Other than them, all others are like obasans *slaps* Just joking (￣ω￣) But anyways.... Rena concurrency with Nogizaka46....!? I know she like them and she goes to their concerts but I reckon concurrency wouldn't do Rena any good, especially with her recent roles in dramas and movies... She is not going to have enough time to focus on her own acting path if she has to be part of SKE and Nogizaka... AND AKB as she is an usual senbatsu member... Yes, It will be interesting to see her in Nogizaka and maybe form a double center with that member whos-name-I-don't-know-that-looks-like-Rena's-sister, but I reckon this is all just for the company's gain and it does not help Rena at all (Maybe. But with the time she has and all 3 different group's schedule, she will be really exhausted)
I'm happy that they didn't break up NonMei and kept them together (￣ω￣) But poor Naru... Her bestie Miyamae is in Team S now....
NMB48
I don't really know NMB48 at all, so I'm probably not gonna say a lot...
I'm glad that Sayanee is still the captain of Team N, but OMG Yukirin and Murashige in N...!? This is so so weird and I can't believe Ayarin, Reinyan and Umechan fully transferred to NMB... What is this I don't even know anymore!!! But glad that Miorin fully tranferred though. She can finally become a fresh lemon (｡´∀｀)ﾉ
HKT48
Since HKT just recently had their first group shuffle, so no much changed to them and mostly it is just concurrencies, but I am concerned with young members having concurrencies as their workload increases and travel would be time consuming especially they are mainly in Fukuoka. It is so funny how when concurrency was first introduced, most fans are not that keen, but now during this big shuffle, it's just like for example "OMG Yukirin going to NMB!? Ahhh, it is just concurrency thank god." Lol.
