The biggest surprise about this new single is the center position which will be held by 2nd generation member, 17 year old, Hori Miona. This caused quite a scandal since they've only just debuted in May this year. Hopefully she can endure the pressure and pull it off! It is also the first single to not include Hoshino Minami in senbatsu.
Also another surprise is a new Anime Type, since the B-side single is also being featured as Naruto Shippuden's 14th opening song. However the cover is yet to be released.

To be honest, despite the members looking cute and cheery as usual, the yellow colour scheme doesn't really match the Barrette music video in my opinion. RUBS pointed out that the covers look like Japanese novel covers. Overall the covers are quite pretty and plain, and I'm definitely looking forward to the Anime cover, I do hope that it's not going to be just Naruto characters and the words バレッタ and 乃木坂46. Since I will be in Japan when it is released, hopefully I will be able to get my hands on at least one of the types...but until that time, I'm signing off here.
