At first glance, I thought these covers were really rocking the retro theme. They sort of give me a rockabilly vibe, and I'm totally loving it! I'm loving the poses with the guitars, even though it may look slightly awkward, as we all know some of the members -ahem soukantoku ahem- is probably the same height as the guitar. The title font used totally coheres with the gradient background as well as keeping with the retro theme. Also, loving the subtle connotation of the "The G. Fingers" in which is probably a major story line to the PV drama. On the other hand (no pun intended), NESS pointed out that Takamina's sudden drop in height between Kojiharu and Yukirin looks quite out of place AND should've been edited to proportionate the levels. But that's just NESS's OCD I find it also does look a little awkward, since they obviously did a little editing on Yuko's height, or at least let her stand on a box to make her more level with Sasshi and not show much of a gap between Kojiharu. I also, sort of wished the photographer told them all to either smile or look stoned cool, because just from Type A it seems all of them were either indecisive or they think it's "cool" to have alternating facial expressions. Sorry, this post is turning out to be 100% Type A.
Type K: loving the consistent height levels, makes it look super neat and of course Mayu looking perf.
Type B: again, consistent height levels (please Type A learn from the rest), and also STILL NOT OVER THAT RABUTAN IS IN FREAKING SENBATSU
Type 4: total change in layout, model and form. It's like Team 4 is saying HELL YEAH TEAM 4 IN THE HOUSE BITCHES, or they're just rubbing salt into the original Team 4's Type-less wounds.
and Theatre, well yeah, it is what it is. Pretty boring and plain, nothing to it. Same old here's-my-guitar-now-look-at-it. Same old alternating facial expressions.
Well, all in all Heart Ereki might just have my most favourite jacket cover so far. I love how 2013 so far has been a journey through musical history, especially with KFC and it's 70s Disco-styled genre. But that's another blog post to write for another day. Don't forget to look out for my Heart Ereki Song review!
